Our Sitefinity Developer .NET Core class will elevate your frontend development expertise to the next level. Participants will dive into Tiered Architecture, API-Driven Content Platforms, and the latest Frontend Framework Features. This comprehensive training is designed to build your confidence in developing widgets, modules, designs, and templates with the savvy to impress your clientele through cutting-edge Sitefinity acumen. Additionally, you'll master widely applicable multiplatform development techniques, ensuring you're prepared to harness the enduring capabilities of the Sitefinity platform in any arena you may desire! This and the (MVC) Development class may be thought of as complementary courses: this one utilizing the cutting-edge framework, and the latter utilizing the time-tested approach.
Prerequisites:
- Familiarity with .NET Core fundamentals (preferred)
- Familiarity with general asynchronous programming (preferred)
This course will aid you in:
- Mastering the Sitefinity .NET Core Architecture, including pass-through MVC
- Setting up Sitefinity .NET Core's frontend using NuGet Packages properly
- Applying the Dependency Injection required for Sitefinity to work in .NET Core
- Developing Page Templates using the new Editor in Sitefinity .NET Core
- Developing Widget Templates for pre-existing & custom widgets
- Creating Sitefinity Widgets using the new ViewComponent class
- Modifying Widget Designers to support new custom types
- Utilizing the Web Services API layer with Sitefinity .NET Core
- Securing your Sitefinity .NET Core Frontend Application
- Building a Frontend in React for Sitefinity .NET Core
* Public classes require a minimum of 4 registered attendees, otherwise it may be moved to the next scheduled occurrence of the class or potentially cancelled. Confirmation will be sent a week prior to the session, or as soon as we have booked 4 attendees.
** Each attendee will need access to the free version of Visual Studio 2022 at minimum, and any iteration of Microsoft SQL Server (SQL Express works fine) running locally on their machine. Every attendee must have full admin rights on their machine to participate.
*** Private classes have a maximum of 8 attendees, and each additional seat is $500. The date and time of delivery is negotiable with the customer for private sessions (all time zones welcome).
