Our Sitefinity Developer class offers you mastery over the familiar, award-winning Sitefinity MVC framework. Participants will dive into Tiered Architecture, API-Driven Content Platforms, & Data Extrapolation/Manipulation. This comprehensive training is designed to build your confidence in developing widgets, modules, designs, and templates with the authority to customize beyond the predictive suggestions. Additionally, you'll master widely applicable multiplatform development techniques, ensuring you're prepared to harness the enduring capabilities of the Sitefinity platform in any arena you may desire! This and the .Net Core Development class may be thought of as complementary courses: this one utilizing the time-tested framework, and the latter utilizing the cutting-edge approach.

Prerequisites:

• Familiarity with MVC fundamentals (preferred)
• Familiarity with general asynchronous programming (preferred)

This course will aid you in:

• Undertaking Sitefinity projects in Visual Studio
• Developing Custom Widgets, Templates, & Modules in MVC
• Extending existing features
• Build Custom Designers in AngularJS
• Using Sitefinity API & Sitefinity Fluent API
• Querying & Executing CRUD analyses on Sitefinity data
• Intercepting Events via the EventHub
• Implementing Configuration Sections via Advanced Settings
• Debugging script in Chrome & Visual Studio
• Injecting AJAX and JavaScript with Best Practice Guidance

* Public classes require a minimum of 4 registered attendees, otherwise it may be moved to the next scheduled occurrence of the class or potentially cancelled. Confirmation will be sent a week prior to the session, or as soon as we have booked 4 attendees.

** Each attendee will need access to the free version of Visual Studio 2022 at minimum, and any iteration of Microsoft SQL Server (SQL Express works fine) running locally on their machine.  Every attendee must have full admin rights on their machine to participate.

*** Private classes have a maximum of 8 attendees, and each additional seat is $500. The date and time of delivery is negotiable with the customer for private sessions (all time zones welcome).
