Our Sitefinity Admin & Designer course is an in-depth technical program designed to help you create websites using built-in modules. It covers designing custom pages to meet specific aesthetic criterion and customizing both frontend and backend workspaces for employees. The course also delves into controlling permissions, tracking workflows, and analyzing project lifecycles. We cover the subjects of the Sitefinity Business class, but we go deeper and with an advanced technical focus as well. This course is geared towards people managers seeking a comprehensive understanding of Sitefinity’s capabilities.

Prerequisites:

• Familiarity with database navigation (preferred)
• Familiarity with general asynchronous programming (preferred)

This course will aid you in:

• Setting up a new website from scratch
• Discerning between the different database choices
• Navigating the Sitefinity user interface comprehensively
• Applying cutting-edge technical techniques to content delivery & presentation
• Centralizing the management of all media files
• Building custom web pages using drag-and-drop functionality
• Adopting an HTML5/JavaScript template and bringing it to Sitefinity as a first class option
• Using versioning to track editing history, date changes, & publishing schedules
• Managing roles and permissions as an administrator
• Managing all aspects of the content life-cycle: from creation, to approval, to publication, to expiration, to archival
• Theming and styling your website to particular aesthetic requests
• Utilizing Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) in Sitefinity
• Loading websites into Visual Studio for analysis
• Using master pages (Web Forms) & Razor syntax for MVC
• Deploying to Azure

* Public classes require a minimum of 4 registered attendees, otherwise it may be postponed to the next scheduled occurrence, or potentially cancelled. Confirmation will be sent either one week prior to a session, or as soon as 4 attendees have made a booking.

** Each attendee will need access to the free version of Visual Studio 2022 at minimum, and any iteration of Microsoft SQL Server (SQL Express works fine) running locally on their machine.  Every attendee must have full admin rights on their machine to participate.

*** Private classes have a maximum of 8 attendees, and each additional seat is $500. The date and time of delivery is negotiable for private sessions (all time zones welcome).
