Our Microsoft Fabric class offering will take you to the edge of enterprise data solutions. Fabric is an all-in-one analytics platform which covers every link in the chain: from database administration, to data engineering, to data science, real-time analytics, and business intelligence. Its comprehensive suite of services includes all OLTP, OLAP, & visualization capabilities, which altogether comprise the entire data lifecycle. With Fabric, you don't need to piece together different services from multiple vendors; instead, you can enjoy a highly integrated, end-to-end, and easy-to-use platform designed to streamline the enter data lifecycle. Built on a foundation of Software as a Service (SaaS), Fabric takes simplicity and integration to a whole new level!

Prerequisites:

• Familiarity with Azure ecosystem (preferred)

• Shift from descriptive to predictive insights w/ data science integration
• Achieve leading SQL performance & scale within Fabric's framework
• Scale compute & storage resources independently
• Utilize the open Delta Lake format for native storage
• Ingest & analyze semi-structured (JSON) observational inputs
• Handle shifting schemas flexibly
• Leverage direct downstream integration into the Power BI report builder
• Build interactive Power BI dashboard linked with Fabric for real-time updating

*You must provide your own computer (Windows or Mac) for this hands-on lab workshop with a camera, speakers, and a microphone. Your computer must have the ability to access your own Azure subscription and access to at least a trial of Microsoft Fabric.
